(More customer reviews)I'm not sure what the person was referring to about the depth of the strainer because the one I have reaches halfway down into a regular sized mug.It's plenty deep enough!In fact, I've been able to put enough loose tea in it to make 5 cups of tea in one shot [the strainer fits my teapot perfectly].
