(More customer reviews)I have had this kettle many months now.My only complaint really has nothing to do with the kettle.We have hard water that causes a white build-up inside the pot.It can be very hard to clean this off.I have small hands and so can reach inside the pot fairly easily with a stainless steel pad.However, if you have large hands, it might be hard to do so because the opening that is covered by the glass top is rather small if you are trying to scour the entire inside of the kettle.

The kettle heats up water very, very quickly since it has such a wide bottom that sits directly on the stove.For a while I had a glass water kettle that one day finally broke. It was restaurant quality, but it still broke from the heat of the boiling water, which was scary.I will never buy a glass water kettle again.There is NO FEAR with this stainless steel kettle.I love it for that reason and would buy it again.
