(More customer reviews)My friends know my endless quest for the teakettle that won't rust, leak or have a whistle that sounds sick.Believe me, I've been through them and spent a small fortune in the process.
I had to purchase yet another new teakettle as I changed the color of my kitchen.I did the perfunctory search of the net, department stores and specialty stores, finally happening upon this one.It had all I wanted - no seam on the bottom (which eventually leaks), solid black enamel exterior, large size, a top that won't fall off when water is poured, a rim that won't rust and a whistle that can be heard (yet doesn't sound like a train's screeching brakes).So I bought it.
The piece de resistance?It didn't cost an arm and a leg!Woo Hoo!I have used it since I received it and I LOVE it!It whistles!It doesn't leak!It was not expensive! And best of all, it's the last one I will have to buy.Recommend this?Oh, most definitely.
