(More customer reviews)I own the 4.5Q model. I love the size for easy handling. You should know that this product is made in Belgium and NOT in China! It was the selling point for me, but I had to make phone calls to find that out.
It does not have a whistle and I really hoped that it would for the price. It has a heavy duty bottom, so I am hoping that will make up for the lack of a whistle ;^)
I have now owned this for a year and have been very pleased with its quality... I even keep water in it 24/7.
