(More customer reviews)Whistle is loud enough to hear when you're upstairs, but not ear-piercing when you're in the kitchen.Easy to clean, because of its removable lid.Handle is cool enough to hold right after water boils, and you don't get hit by the steam coming from the spout.Knob to open the spout gets a little warm, but not hot or untouchable.Also, no metallic taste that I can detect.Have had the kettle for a month or so, and no problems so far.Great kettle for making tea!
