(More customer reviews)This electric kettle gives the boiled water the most horrible, metallic taste.The pre-use directions say to fill the kettle with water, boil it, empty it out and then repeat and the kettle is ready for use.Well, I boiled and emptied out the water at least 8 times and the terrible taste remained. I have owned several electric kettles and none has ever left a metallic taste in the water.I returned this item and suggest that you DO NOT BUY THIS KETTLE!
