Dragon detail is nice. Color is not as rich as it appears on my computer screen, but still nice. It retains heat very well (still hot after an hour). I would have preferred if the tea infuser basket was deeper. There seems to be about an inch of clearance between the bottom of the basket and the bottom of the tetsubin and, given its squat shape, I felt that I added much more water than I would've preferred just to make sure the tea leaves were completely immersed in the water. It might pose a problem if I decide not to make a full pot of tea.
